A cabaret spectacular to start off 2026, with stand up, drag, music, comedy, burlesque and so much more!
Join the safer space community at the wonderful stage of the Old Coal Yard for a night that will beat away those January blues, with a colourful celebration of all things equity, joy, community and solidarity.
From the team that has brought you two fantastic sell out Big Gay Cabaret shows, bring a night of Queer joy and hildarity with a star studded cast to brighten up the darker nights in the coolest brewery in Toon!

Rhian Jade is a perfornance artist from Belfast, living in Newcastle and producing Queer work that is all about joy, solidarity and liberation! After producing and performing in two previous, SELL OUT, Big Gay Cabarets, Rhian is so exciting to be back to chase away the January blues with this fantastic cast of Queer performance legends.

Ebony silk
Ebony Silk is a dazzling and professional performer boasting over 15yrs of experience.Formerly a resident member of Bordello Bordello, The Headline Honeys Burlesque Troupe and currently part of The House of Trixie Blue, she has toured across the UK as part of a theatre cast and independent productions, and has headlined burlesque festivals internationally, earning rave reviews.
With legs for days, a playful smile, and captivating presence, she will transport your audience to a delightful realm of glamour and excitement. Her performances span from classic showgirl striptease featuring ostrich feathers and crystals to lively acts with a tropical twistinspired by her Jamaican heritage, all infused with high-energy and cheeky flair.

Kay Greyson is a genre-blending rapper and songwriter from Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, known for her bold lyricism, energetic live shows, and commitment to social impact. Starting her journey at just six years old, she’s opened for legends like KRS‑One and The Game, performed at venues like the Royal Albert Hall, and was named “Newcomer of the Year” at the 2019 Journal Culture Awards. Her recent album Chekhov’s Gun showcases a unique fusion of hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and pop, while tackling themes of vulnerability, identity, and resilience. A proud northerner and creative activist, Kay uses her platform to champion community projects, mental health awareness, and creative opportunities for young people across the North East.

MintJuulPod is a Nigerian-Irish DJ who loves to bring atmosphere and bass to all her sets. She likes to focus on bringing queer and black art to the forefront.
Having played at a wide variety of events from Blush at WHQ to Pulse at The Lubberfiend to opening for Congo Natty at the MOBO Fringe she has solidified herself in Newcastle’s music scene. Blending sounds of Jungle, Atlanta bass and Jersey Club, her sets bring high energy and good vibes. MintJuulPod is not one to miss! -
