Join Ellie of Rindill Makes to explore the art of chainmail through jewellery-making in this fun, hands-on workshop.
You’ll be learning Helm Chain, a classic chainmail weave with a complex-looking pattern that’s surprisingly achievable. You'll use your newfound skills to create your own bracelet or necklace chain – it’s up to you!
Blending pattern, rhythm, and wearable design, the session will explore two approachable chainmail weaves, introduce you to jump rings and jewellery pliers, and ensure you leave with a wearable piece created entirely from scratch.
Expect a relaxed and friendly setting, lots of support, and a little bit of nerdy chainmail knowledge!
All equipment and materials are provided, but participants will need to be able to use pliers with both hands to fully enjoy this workshop..
